STUNT National Championship USA Cheer, the national governing body for all forms of cheerleading, is hosting the first STUNT National Championship on April 9, 2011 in Daytona Beach, FL. Six collegiate teams will be vying for their place in history as the first STUNT National Champions. |

Atlanta Tournaments On February 18th and 19th, the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta Georgia was booming with explosive mixes of upbeat music. CHEERSPORT, the largest cheerleading competition in the world, offered spectators the opportunity to watch the dynamic new sport derived from cheerleading, STUNT. With three tournaments spanning over two days, ten teams played with hopes of taking home a victory for their school. |

NC State University Brings Home a Win The Raleigh Convention Center saw its very first STUNT Tournament this past Friday. As the tournment began, Morgan State University, NC State University, and UNC Chapel Hill STUNT athletes played very well. NC State held strong as they racked up points in all four quarters. |

First STUNT exhibition Held At Methodist University The first official exhibition of the newly developed sport, STUNT, took place at Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina on Sunday December 13. Participating in the exhibition game were the cheer team from Methodist University and the club cheer team from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. |

USA Cheer Announces an NCAA Emerging Sport Initiative USA Cheer, the national governing body (NGB) for all forms of cheerleading, has released a new competition sport designed to be considered for NCAA Emerging Sport status. “STUNT,” which is descriptive of the athletic skills pulled from traditional cheerleading, has also been tailored to follow Title IX’s requirements for intercollegiate sport. |
